Went to see Ceu at the Hackney Empire, I just had to, as I've been playing the Vagarosa & Ceu CD's incessantly in my car for the last 2 months or more.
Absolutely loved the performance.
She should do more gigs in England, but in more accessible places as Hackney is not good to get to or back from.

The South Bank Centre have had a Brazilian Festival this month, with music, art, dance, etc (Gilberto Gil, Maracatudo Mafua, MC Marachal, Ernesto Neto, D.Vysor)etc,. It would have been a good thing to latch into, or try playing somewhere more central (Bebel Gilberto is playing Koko in Camden, London on 6 August).

Love the music though.
